Hello and welcome to my little world. I am a Jeweler specializing in hand engraving and stone setting based in Los Angeles California.
My journey started when I graduated high school in 2011. From there I studied everything there is to know about the jewelry industry at the Gemological institute of America in Carlsbad California. It is there where I found my love for the decorative arts. I spent the next 7 years seeing how deeply my passion goes.
I mentored under Gabriel Owen, a hand engraver and stone setter in Clifton New Jersey. During that time, he taught me advanced pave diamond setting, along with design theory and the various engraving techniques that are used to engrave anything from jewelry to firearms.
One of the most important lessons that I took away from my time with Gabriel is that you must give your very soul to the craft to truly master it. I have dedicated myself fully to this idea, and my journey has just begun.
So, the next time you look at a piece of jewelry or an engraved item, think of the person who put graver to metal and turned a hunk of metal and stones into something that can be loved and cherished for generations.
